Your first 12 months will involve specialised training in a highly rated training facility at Maitland NSW, prior to commencing hands-on training at Peabody’s Wilkie Creek Mine.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to obtain your trade of choice, plus gain nationally recognised qualifications.
Your personal commitment will include a four year contract and a positive attitude while working towards obtaining your trade certificate.

Cert III Civil construction - 4/05/2012

Trainee will be required to use small plant and equipment, use a variety of hand and power tools, check levels using various types of levelling instruments and equipment, compact construction materials, undertake manual excavations and tasks, carryout concreting work, handle construction materials, identify locate and protect underground services, control traffic and interpret drawings and specifications.
